Hi can anyone tell me the ranges for constant linear and quadratic, I don't seem to be able to find these values anywhere. Thanks :)

What do you mean by range? No matter what valid constant, linear and quadratic parameters you use, the attenuation will (mathematically) never reach zero.

I mean what values can the three parameters be set to? 0.0f to N?
Thanks.
for example the defaults are
GL_CONSTANT_ATTENUATION : default value is 1
GL_LINEAR_ATTENUATION : default value is 0
GL_QUADRATIC_ATTENUATION : default value is 0

I'd say every value from 0.0 to positive infinity is valid, but not all are usefull. The higher the factor the shorter the perceptual light range is, i.e. with a value of 100.0 for the linear attenuation would cause the light to have only 1% of its strength after the first meter.
