I would suggest looking in the Articles section of the site, I havent looked through the AI Section, but what I have read from there was informational.

Or do a quick Google search for 'Artificial Intelegence Concepts' (or similar).

Artificial Intelligence for Games provides a good, succinct summation, of many basic game programming techniques. Very practical.

I also recommend some of the classic book AI books.

Steve Lavalle's book on planning algorithms is available for free online. It's a very good multidisciplinary introduction to the subject:
