Did you know that in 2006 Oklahoma passed legislation that would have barred certain people from buying video games? Did you know that this legislation was ruled unconstitutional in a federal court? If not, you should have. But this won't happen again without your knowledge if you join the ECA. The Entertainment Consumer Association (ECA http://www.theeca.com ) is an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of video game players through out the country. This includes fighting legislation that targets video games unfairly or media that slanders video games and the people who play them. As part of this effort, a Chapter for the Oklahoma City, OK area has been formed. As a member of the OKC chapter, you will be able to work with others to stop the spread of lies in your local area. You will also be able to socialize with others who share your passion for video games. Other benefits are available here: http://www.theeca.com/membership_benefits Check out the ECA and Join Today. For questions about the Oklahoma City Chapter of the ECA or the ECA in general, you can contact E.
