Hello, My cout<< calls are printed into an stdout.txt file instead of the console window... does anyone know how to get it back to printing into the console? I'm using SDL and OpenGL, does that have anything to do with it?

No it shouldn't have anything to do with sdl or opengl. Do you have your program set up to not display a terminal? What IDE are you using it may be redirecting stdout since you have your app set to be a non console app.

Other than the small fact that SDL redirects stdout to a file, that file being stdout.txt. Assuming Windows, building your project in the console subsystem should prevent SDL from redirecting the handle.
