Probably A Really Easy Problem (SDL.Net)

ok, this is probably a really simple problem with SDL.Net that I can't seem to figure out. So basically all I want is a sprite to be 50% transparent. So I have a sprite: Sprite mySprite = new Sprite("SpriteSource.png"); then later in the rendering method is do this: mySprite.AlphaBlending = true; mySprite.Alpha = 126; Video.Screen.Blit(mySprite); Video.Screen.Update(); The sprite still shows up as fully solid with no transparency. I'm sure this is a really simple problem. Thanks.
