Just a couple of quick questions, I'm developing my first Mobile application using J2ME, now let's say I have a TiledLayer object and I want to have it 'scroll'.I can do this simply by callint TiledLayer.move right? My questions are, if the tile is invisible would I need to do something to it to ensure it's not eating up the mobilephones CPUs cycles? Or if it's not visible java automatically just doesn't do anything with it. My other question is, how can I get the position of a cell which has been offset by x and y? Is there a quick function that just returns the position of any given cell in screen space or do i have to figure it out by taking the tile offset, cell dimensions, number of columns/rows and doing that? Thanks for any help!
