I simply am trying to take information from my program (written in C++... .NET to be specific), and enter it into a web form (i.e. HTML form). For example, I might require my program to automatically enter some word into a search engine. I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Thank you. :)

There are two ways to do it, using (or writing) a HTTP client library to send GETs and POSTs directly to the server, or IE automation.

Working with HTTP libraries requires some knowledge of HTTP. It's probably the best option for long-running processes, specially server side. One disadvantage is not being able to run javascript.

IE automation is good for tests, because it uses an actual Internet Explorer instance to reach the site, so you get see how it works in the real thing, with cokies, javascript, ActiveX controls, and all that. Not recommended for long-running or critical tasks, because browsers aren't specially reliable.
