Hello there! Any idea what happened to the managed DirectX? Why abandoned? How can I use DirectX from within WinForm managed language like C#? XNA is a game framework, will not help much.

It was abandoned because Microsoft wanted to work on XNA.

Just to clarify things for you a bit (as well as for all the others who seem to have the same misunderstanding of the XNA Framework), there's nothing at all stopping you from using the graphics portion of XNA.Framework. It's basically a wrapper around D3D9, and runs completely independently of all the other "games framework" stuff in XNA (content pipeline, Game class, sound, etc.)

Managed DirectX was deprecated because of XNA Game Studio.
You can use SlimDX or you can use Game Studio.
I would say that if you are looking at using Direct3D10... use SlimDX, if not... use XNA Game Studio.

Take care:)

There is a tutorial on the XNA site to run the XNA graphics through a WinForm, if not there, it's on Ziggyware.
