Hi, I am using a program called Light Map Maker to calculate my lightmaps. The only problem is, that it cannot merge the lightmap with the original mesh. So does anyone know a good modeler that can combine the lightmap mesh with a multiplicative blend mode, and combine the two meshes and produce new textures and new UV's (a combination of the original textures and the lightmaps?) While keeping the polycount of the original mesh.

What do you mean by "lightmap mesh", AFAIK lightmaps are textures not meshes. If you meant applying the original texture and the lightmap, well every modern modeler supports multi-texturing. As for texture coordinates your program must supply them for you because you have no way of determining which face each texel belongs to.
You can try Blender.

The modeler I am using is Milkshape, and it's multitexturing functions do not work. Anyway, the rendering software I am using does not support multiplicative blending. Does Blender have a "Combine" function (like the one I described?)
