Hi everyone! A couple of friends and me made this game a few months ago, i'll describe it briefly: Our goal was making a game in which people could have fun while practicing arithmetic operations ( i've seen way too many adults counting with fingers, and that cant be ignored! ). Difficult? hell yes; impossible? nope!. I think we achieved it, because we had lots and lots of teenagers and adults playing it (specially the 1v1 mode) at the creativity contest. Ok, now i will really describe the game: There is a board with several "pieces", with numbers in them, but you dont controll them. You control the white one, that falls over time, this piece contains a number and an arithmetic operator. Your task is simple: you have to find two adjacent hexagons in the board that, when you apply them the operator that is written in the white piece, will produce as a result the number written in the white piece. Is that simple! My friends and i have graduated already and i rarely see them now, but believe me, we all would love feedback about this project (it was made for a creativity contest, we had TONS of faith in it but we lost mostly because of bad documentation of the project itself :( ). This was everyone's first game and, sadly, the last one (at least as a team). Thanks for checking it out! Notes: The interface is in spanish but its pretty straightforward (aided with icons and there are a lot of cognados in there!) even for non spanish speakers. It was made in java and it uses the high resolution timer, you will need to download and install the java3d api, which is pretty light as well as free. get java 3d here: https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_Developer-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=java3d-1.5.1-oth-JPR@CDS-CDS_Developer get the game here: http://rapidshare.com/files/126472067/Juegos.zip.html Controls: Arrows for player one, WASD for player two, push any key in the start screen to advance to the menu.
