The Develop Conference & Expo (http://www.develop-conference.com) is taking place again, 29 - 31 July 2008 in Brighton, and they're looking to recruit a number of volunteers to act as Conference associates throughout the three-day event. Volunteers will be asked to perform a variety of duties to help the conference run smoothly. Assignments include bag stuffing, tallying evaluations, door monitoring, answering questions, and anything else the staff might need. In return you are able to attend the event free of charge and get the opportunity to mix with the European development community. Accommodation is NOT covered, and I don't think travel expenses are covered either. Lunch is provided. I've been a volunteer for the last three years and it's pretty good fun, besides getting the chance to sit in on presentations there's also the opportunity to network post-conference at the bar most evenings, plus other perks. If you're interested contact Susan Marshall, Content Director at Tandem Events - susan@tandemevents.co.uk. The more volunteers we have the less work we each need to do!
