deleting threads

Hey if you started a thread a long time ago that embarrasses you these days is there any way to get rid of it or is it there for all eternity?
Use a shutdown sentinel and insert a thread.join(). [grin]
(I think you can delete a forum thread as long as it isn't locked, threads get locked after a certain period of time. If you edit your original post in a thread there is a delete check box, I think that'll do it.)

The easiest way to forget is not to start a thread like this drawing attention to them [grin]
You can ask a moderator to do it, in which case we will be happy to entirely ignore your request.
