Loading Bitmaps went wrong..!!

Hi gameDevs of the world, I really need your help on this.. I Want to display alpha-images on top of a video. My application uses DirectShow & vmr9 for media Rendering and the frames are painted in a window, like a media player..! PROBLEM: I want to display an semitransparent image (bmp with alpha channel) and scroll text on it. As I figure it until now I have to: 1. Load the image as 32bit image. 2. Copy it on a DC 3. Draw on a DC the text (easy part!) 4. Copy the DC with the text over the bitmap DC. 5. Set the DC as the VmrMixerBitmap->UpdateAlphaBitmapParameters ( final DC ) Is this possible? Does anybody know how to keep/manipulate the alpha layer while drawing? I'll attach some code tomorrow.. App type: Win32
