Good book recomm...

Today's client-server architectures contain many apsects like client-prediction. interpolation, extrapolation, etc. I am looking for a good book (or books) which covers those features. I am interested in MMO games as well as client-server action based games, or even action based MMOs.

Any distributed simulation text from the last 20 years ought to be a good start. Anything covering the Distributed Interactive Simulation protocol (DIS, IEEE 1278) will probably be a good primer.
