I downloaded Maya and it is giving me a message like this when I go to set it up " The VCSETUP.EXE file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtShutdownSystem " can someone help me.

Where did you download it from?

I downloaded it from Autodesk.It was the PLE.

Strikes me as either a broken install package (try redownloading or downloading a different version), or a broken or incompatible OS/install.

Try posting on the Autodesk forums; we cannot provide technical support.
