SDL Memory Problem (2D Game)

I've noticed that every second the memory (RAM) consumption of my 2D game ate almost 100kb. So in 60 seconds, 6,000kb will be taken by my program. How can I fix this leak?

That rather depends on the cause of it, with out some code it's hard to say.
Only thing I can say is start looking in the places of your code where memory is being allocated. For example, the creation of surfaces or dynamic memory allocation (new and malloc).
