Now my application referenced Microsoft's WMVFormatSDK9.5 to do audio/video encode to WMV format, I call IWMCodecInfo to enumerate and find most suitable audio codec format to match the format from user(as, SamplePerSecond, BitsPerSample, BitRate), and these just works well on my WinXP, but when I copy this application to another WinXP system, it won't work, the reason is probably because the second system got a 10.x version of wmvcore.dll while my system got a 11.x version of it, and via the printed codec enumeration result, the second system got FEWER audio codecs than my system, the encoding procedure failed when matching audio codec format. So I load function dynamically from wmvcore.dll and publish my application along with the 11.x version of wmvcore.dll to the second system, but it still do not work on the second system with the reason, why? How to publish an application which used WMVFormatSDK with the right version all the way? Any help is appreciate. [Edited by - kimryo on July 18, 2008 4:04:05 AM]
