OK, so I have a simple text outputting app created (with directx9 and C++) , and was wondering, for each different size/font of text do I need a seperate font device? I mean I can change the text color with each use of the DrawText function, but none of the paramaters seem to have anything to do with changing font/size.

From the SDK:
Quote:
The ID3DXFont interface encapsulates the textures and resources needed to render a specific font on a specific device.

That indicates you need 1 font object for each combination of size, face, pitch, etc.
