For anyone that has read this, what are your thoughts? This was my first "a.i." book so I am looking to spark some discussion. I especially enjoyed reading about his thoughts on emotions and how they are Ways to Think. What I found lacking, however, was the incoherent (at least to me) nature of the book. I was really looking for something to tie everything together and it lacked that. I can understand that tying together artificial intelligence is a difficult task because it is ever evolving, but most concepts in the book didn't seem to correlate as much as I thought they should. Overall though I thought it was a good book (maybe not for a beginner like myself), and it's got me interested in learning more about neural networks, a-life simulations, and "Society of Mind" - the "prequel".
