Lesson 01: UnregisterClass does not work

From reading bits here and there, it seems DestroyWindow() might be of use, but why was this fix not included in the first tutorial? My code is exactly copy-and-paste from the first tutorial, save for the extra #include <stdafx.h> that is apparently also needed to compile. My project compiles fine, but whenever the function KillGLWindow() is run, UnregisterClass() always returns FALSE. Does someone have a fix for this? Because I'm a bit new to OpenGL. Edit: I found if I use DestroyWindow() before UnregisterClass(), it fixes the problem, but some forum posts say theres no reason to even use DestroyWindow()..
