Hey all, I have a question about cursors. If i want to make a cursor what thing would be the best: 1) Make an image and load it through opengl and let it be rendered as an image on top of all images. 2) Make a cursor, .ico not .cur since .cur doesn't allow a colored cursor, and place it in the window's cursor by LoadCursor. I think 2 is the best choice so i can avoid interruption when rendering is loading but i failed in it because i can't load ico instead of cur. please someone help, tnx in advance...

What do you mean by "best step you can choose"? To do what?

I got a small quad on the screen that moved wherever and whenever I moved the mouse. This was an OGL implementation, rather than pure Win32, and allowed me to have cursors with variable transparency, and other neat effects, but this might not be what you want. If you could elaborate on what you're trying to do, maybe we can help you easier.
