What is the correct C99 way of declaring a function without parameters?
void function();
void function(void);
I'm currently browsing this document and was surprised to find
int main(void) {...}
on page 24 of the PDF.

The latter is the correct C89/99 way, that is with function(void). The former is the old K&R way which only prototyped the return value, so the argument list is effectively an ellipsis (e.g. function(...)) meaning that you can pass anything to it without any checking by the compiler.

In C++ they are both equivalent however.
