getting multiple monitor details with WMI

Recommended Posts

I'm using the WMI and C# (I don't know if that's relevant) to try to get the details of the monitors connected to the system. I'm using the query "SELECT * FROM Win32_DesktopMonitor" the problem is that when I tried this on a computer that has multiple monitors (not my comp at home, where I'm developing this), the second monitor details just came up as a duplicate of the first. Also, when I use the WMI Object Browser on the comp with multiple monitors, there is only one instance of "Win32_DesktopMonitor", and that's for the primary monitor. How do I get this to work to detect multiple monitors?
