Custom pre-debug event in msvc++ 2008

Like the "pre-build event" or "custom build step". Is it possible? I need to copy specific dll to a certain location before actually starting a debug of the app to ensure latest version of that dll. Of course, I can do that in the "custom build step" of the dll's project, but I want to find a way to make it in the app's project, without touching the dll's project. So is it possible?
