OpenGL Using D3DXMatrixPerspectiveFovRH/LH in OpenGL

Hi Everyone, I'm writing graphics lib that allows me to use either DirectX or OpenGL for the underlying rendering system. Rather than using glu lib functionality (i.e. gluPerspective) is there any way to use D3DXMatrix functionality (i.e. D3DXMatrixPerspectiveFovRH/LH) in OpenGL by simply switching the matrix indices around? If not, my alternative is to write my own matrix code for both API's, which I'm not keen on doing. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

You don't need to switch anything around but the matrix computed is not the same as gluPerspective.
