Just got into OpenGL ES 2.0 programming, and found that many fundamental things like GL_PROJECTION, glLoadIdentity etc. is missing.. Have I done anything wrong, or is it so that they have removed all these things? I am including the GLES2.0 headers from the Khronos site.

Looks like they have removed them. ES 2.0 has gotten rid of the fixed pipeline stuff. In your shader, you should make a uniform and upload the projection matrix you want to use.

Hrmm, that makes it a whole lot trickier for me.. Does anyone know where I can get hold of some tutorials on GLES 2.0 ?? I feel I need to learn OpenGL from the beginning with this..

Follow this link, and download the OpenKODE implementation. It comes with two OpenGL ES demos. One for ver. 1.1 that still has the fixed function calls. The second demonstrates ver. 2.0, and code needed to generate your own matrices and upload them.
