Quake 3 maps

I''m having a real annoying problem with my q3 map loader. It works fine if there is no brushes "touching" each other. For example, if I draw one cube and then draw another one wich share one side with the first cube, everything becomes completely messed up (Hope you''re with me here, I''m not sure how to explain this). If I draw two cubes there should be 12 faces, but if they share one face (doesn''t have to be the whole face, part of it is enough) I can''t find all faces which means that my funtion won''t render the whole level. Anyone else who''s familiar to this problem?
