Hello, I''ve been programming for a while now, and I''ve just got a little bit into Direct3D8 and stuff. I really like how you can import stuff from X files. I''m thinking of making a small little RPG game w/ some friends. I understand that making a world in one X file and just throwing it at the graphics card and telling it to find what is visible and what is not is really not a good way to do things. So, I''ve been thinking of maybe breaking up the .X files and stuff and checking room by room or something. Just wondering what you all recommend for this problem. Thanks, --Mohotmoz

Throwing it at the graphic card is the best solution if it is fast enough. I would avoid complicated and limited structures. Perhaps some easy matrix or grid.
