shortest time trajectory

I want to design an algorithm to find the shortest time trajectory in aircraft domain. Where can I find the Important Stuff. I feel such algorithm is already there. Can anybody help me to find the same or the reference material?

Your request isn't very specific, but it sounds as if you want simple newtonian physics, which can be found in any highschool or college physics text. if you would like to post a few more details on the problem you are trying to solve, we can no doubt give more useful advice.

The algorithm:

Input: 1.Initial state of the aircraft viz. position, velocity.
2. Final state of the aircraft
output: the trajectory with the minimum time to achieve the final state for the aircraft.
and the time needed to travel the trajectory or the time needed to get the final state from the initial state.


NOTE: the state can be termed as state vector with components:

position
velocity
Force components along axes.
