Yo, I have problem with DirectX debug settings. In the DirectX properties when I enable the check box "Allow Hardware Acceleration" any directX application gives me an error D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE. I checked Dxdiag disply tab and I noticed the hardware acceleration is disabled, when I enalbe hardwer acceleration in the Dxdiag I checked again the DirectX properties "Allow Hardware Acceleration" and what I noticed the chekbox was disabled. It sound there no need for that debug setting at all or there is a problem somewhere else? Thanks

One version of the DirectX SDK had that checkbox set to the inverse of what it should be. If you have that version of the SDK, you should make sure the checkbox in unchecked - that'll be using hardware acceleration.

Alternatively, grab the latest DirectX SDK - it's fixed properly in that.
