Job based vs. thread based

Somewhere I've read that game programmers should focus on developing job based apps since they are better suited for multi-core processors. However, I can't find any info on google, probably because it is hidden somewhere deep. So, does anyone know any links that could help?
So... Muira Yoshimoto sliced off his head, walked 8 miles, and defeated a Mongolian horde... by beating them with his head?

Documentation? "We are writing games, we don't have to document anything".
