So I've spent a good 3-4 hours trying to make Eclipse run Python and work with C++ and Java on Eclipse. Unfortunately, the tutorials sucked and my books aren't showing Eclipse examples so not everything is coherent and it's pretty much annoying the hell out of me. I decided to just remove any and all Eclipse software from my computer (though I still have the zipped files, and I haven't removed Python). What I want to achieve is: 1) Have Python work with Eclipse. 2) A quick guide on how to get your first C++/Java project up and working using Eclipse (I used to know this - with Java - but I don't entirely recognize Eclipse as it is, and can't navigate my way around the program). I'd appreciate any help. For instance, where exactly do I download Eclipse? What version and type of Eclipse do I want? How do I start working on Python?
