Hello, I am new, and ran into a problem. I am using Visual Studio C++ 2008. I am trying to run a program, and I keep getting these errors: Compiling... glutClicks.cpp c:\documents and settings\owner\desktop\glutclicks.cpp(19) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'glut.h': No such file or directory Segment.cpp c:\documents and settings\owner\desktop\segment.h(4) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'gl.h': No such file or directory Generating Code... Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\Test\Test\Debug\BuildLog.htm" Test - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s) ========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ========== I used this site: http://thoughtsfrommylife.com/article-748-OpenGL_and_Visual_Studio_Express_2008 and it told me to store glut.h in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Include\GL folder. If anyone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you sure you are including <gl/gl.h> and <gl/glut.h>?

Otherwise, check your include directories. I use Visual Studio 2005 myself, but I don't think this changed: Tools -> Options -> Project and Solutions -> VC++ Directories. Select Show directories for Include files and check if "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Include" or something like "$(MicrosoftSDKDir)include" (not sure) is on the list.

Judging by your errors I'd say the problem is in your source code, so look into my first comment first.
