OpenGL glOrthof and Absolute postion

Hi! All, I'm developing games for iPhone. It has grandpa opengl es :) (old one). Ok! I'm only glOrthof and no other related methods. I need absolute coordinate system for drawing. Right now, I"m using glVertexPointer to draw and it uses value like 0.7f blah blah. but I need absolute values. Help please.
