Hi I am wondering whether there is a environment variable that SVN automatically prepends the repository url of the svn operations such as CVSROOT or similar such that svn co file:///pathtosvnroot/trunk becomes SVNROOT=pathtosvnroot svn co trunk of course I could put "file:///.../" into a environment variable, but the SVNROOT way seems more convenient such that I use svn co $SVNROOT/trunk but thats still not what I want P.S.: I am on linux using the bash thx in advance [Edited by - Basiror on August 20, 2008 5:35:07 AM]

I don't believe so, I think it just looks at .svn/entries file in the current path and finds the repository URL. But as usual, look at the SVN book to find out more.
