As every football manager game, Perfect Line-Up simulates the world of football. Every registered user receives a new team and a set of 22 players. He can immediately hire some personnel (coaches, psychologist, scouts and physiotherapists). For every coach he may set-up a daily training schedule and the number of players to train. The coach, as well as all the personnel (players and staffs), have specific skills and attributes. Based on these skills the user selects 11 players and chooses the tactical settings (including individual orders for each player) before each match. The matches in Perfect Line-Up (league, cup, friendly or international matches) are played in real time and every match normally takes 90 minutes (except cup matches which can have extra time). During these 90 minutes the user has the possibility to watch a live commentary of each match (the commentaries are also translated) and at the end can view an automatically generated rapport. This rapport includes statistics like possession, chances, free-kicks, passes or tackles as well as the game’s commentary. As a bonus, the game includes a Forum where users can not only discuss football subjects (tactics, transfers or matches) but also a large range of other topics. Last but not least the game has also got an in-game newspaper (which is also available in different languages).
