I'm hoping to find a simple, 2D pathfinding library or code where I can give it an array like this bool a[1024][768]; (which is filled with zeroes and ones) and start and end coordinates and it will return the shortest array of locations which lead from the start to the end. Does anyone know a simple library that does this? (I've looked into A * but I've gotta be honest, it's a little intimidating and I'm looking for something easier to use.) Thank you.

A* isn't a library or code. It's an algorithm, and yes, many algorithms are intimidating. Just Google for a* pathfinding library and you'll find something you like.

Maybe http://www.cs.ualberta.ca/~games/pathfind/libpathfind/0.1.0/doc/index.html?
