Dlls under Linux ?

Hi There! Just wanted to know if there''s something similar like .dlls under Windows for Linux? You should check this.

I remember reading better articles, but I lost the url, sorry.
The .DLL equivalent for Linux is called a shared library (or dynamically loaded library, depending on when the library is loaded). This document describes how to create and use them.
