I went to the libggi web page, and i thought it looks interesting. Probably a little faster than allegro, wich i''m using now. Is libggi dead? anyone know?

I wouldn''t say libggi is dead, just as I would caution anyone proclaiming the demise of Allegro, but SDL seems to have overshadowed all other Linux or Linux-compatible toolkits. The benefits of being cross-platform and endian-safe, etc seem to only strengthen SDL''s dominance. It''s included in virtually every distribution now (Allegro isn''t, nor GGI or ClanLib and PLIB is only included with SuSE AFAIK) and the support from Loki doesn''t hurt... Check it out if you haven''t already.
