glutCreateMenu please help

I have a class, and I want to register a static menu to the class. This is my code: void crate::crateMenu(int handle) { } /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// // Register a menu void crate::registerMenu() { menu = glutCreateMenu(crateMenu); } Now this would work fine procedurally, but when I compile with this in my class I get the following error: error C2664: ''glutCreateMenu_ATEXIT_HACK'' : cannot convert parameter 1 from ''void (int)'' to ''void (__cdecl *)(int)'' any idea how to do this? Thanks
