Tile Engine

Hi... I was wondering where I could find a free 2D tiling engine in C++ with DirectX, and source code including pixel by pixel scrolling and collision detection. You know, something like you'd use for an RPG. A scripting engine and map editor that came with it would be nice, but not totally necessary. Source would not be needed for the map editor or scripting engine. Thanks! EDIT: By the way, the engine would use square tiles, that are fairly small - about 32x32 pixels, but this can vary a bit. Overhead view. Thanks! Edited by - flyguy on June 9, 2001 7:39:56 PM

There''s bookoos of info on this site about tile engines. They''re relatively easy to make too, even with pixel by pixel scrolling and all. Just try making one of your own. But scripting engine is another story though.

Mine is exactly that and more. You just need to wait another half a year or so
