OpenGL ROAM(LOD terrain) source?

Does anyone can post some pseudocode of a simple roam implementation or a complete sample? I actually understand the basics of roam but I have no idea how to realize that with DirectX and all samples that I found are with OpenGL. I want to realize that with DirectX 9.0 under Windows XP.
