I am working with OpenGL 2.1 on the machine I am using, whenever I attempt to compile code containing methods relating to GLSL I get linker errors, I started using the ARB extension for the methods but I know I should not have to be doing this. I must be missing something because the application "glewinfo.exe" (that comes with the glew extension wrangler) says that these methods are supported, and even my syntax highlighting plugin (visual assist x) finds these methods and shows them as usable :/ at compile time all shader related functions are reported to be not found and its aggravating me. I'm fairly sure I have all my dependency's right, any idea why this would be happening? I am using visual studios 2005. Thanks in advance.

Download Rendermonkey from AMD/ATI drop your shader code into RM and see if it spits out any errors. If not post your code for loading the shaders...

No, I'm talking about compiling the application not the shaders. :P

I get this.

1>.\ogl.cpp(157) : error C3861: 'glGetObjectParameteriv': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(163) : error C3861: 'glGetInfoLog': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(176) : error C3861: 'glCreateShaderObject': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(177) : error C3861: 'glCreateShaderObject': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(178) : error C3861: 'glCreateShaderObject': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(200) : error C3861: 'glAttachObject': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(201) : error C3861: 'glAttachObject': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(202) : error C3861: 'glCreateProgramObject': identifier not found
1>.\ogl.cpp(208) : error C3861: 'glUseProgramObject': identifier not found

even with glew.h included and glew32.lib linked to the project.
