self-shadowing on gf3?

there was mention of self-shadowing capability implemented for the gf3 some while ago...so is this already present or still in the pipeline? also, what sort of pixel shader effects will pr4 support? brandon.

I have not seen any Direct3D demos from Nvidia that do this yet. There is a special opengl extension that enables it, so I don''t even know if it''s possible under Direct3D.

Waiting for nvidia''s contest to finish to see if anyone figured it out.
