IsoEngine is to slow!

I have bought the book from TAAN, and i think it is very good! But now I have created an engine which is the same described in the book. The problem is, that the whole map is drawn at one time. The invisible part of the map (which is NOT Viewspace) is clipped by DirectDraw! But if I have a big map, for example 100x100 tiles, then many tiles will be clipped and this is VERY slow. I know that TAAN has later improved this DRAW-Funktionr. Can you please explain me how he has improved this Prozedure or where I can find that in the book. Thank you very much PS: (TAAN), I think it is the greatest book I have ever read. I really need this ISO3D stuff :-)! MFG Mr Byte
