Does anyone know where I can find DirectX 8 tutorials (mainly DirectX graphics)?

I think the best beginner tutorial that I''ve seen is at www.drunkenhyena.com. This guy made 8 tutorials which build of each other and he is very verbose in his use of d3d calls.

Definitely check it out.

There are some other sites listed in the Forum FAQ (which is linked at the top of this page somewhere). Some are pretty good, but none come close to DrunkenHyena.
