Problems with Release

Hello everyone. I render a volume texture. It contains grayscale data. When I build the application in DEBUG mode everything looks OK and the image is grayscale. But when I build the application in RELEASE mode the image is deffected it becomes blue but not grey. Does anybody know what may cause the problem? I wanted to upload the screenshot to illustrate the problem. But it seems that this site does not support this feature. Any help appriciated.
