[SDL] Code profiling oddity: SDL_BuildAudioCVT

I profiled my game with CodeAnalyst, and it seems the function taking up the vast majority of processing power is the SDL function SDL_BuildAudioCVT. I am not using this function at all, in fact I never even initialize the audio part of SDL. Any insights on why this function would be using so much time? Thanks.
