I want to try and write a simple 2D board game using XNA Game Studio 3.0 and C#. It will be a top-down, non-isometric "board game". I want the game pieces to be animated, both while stationary as well as while moving to another square. Given those parameters, are there some tutorials available that can jump-start my development, specifically directed at 2D games?
