vector out of range
Is there any way to get Visual studio (2008) to tell you the line of code (or take you to it), when you get a "vector subscript out of range" error?
I managed to solve the problem by stepping through, as i have a bunch of vector stuff going on in one particular part of the app.
But it would be nice to know this for the future, but im wondering if its even possible as i know that the STL provides very little error checking for optimization, but i wasn't sure if there was something in debug mode.
When you get the assertion error, hit Retry to break into the debugger, then go to the Call Stack and click on the entry two levels above the current stack entry. That will be the line of your code that caused the error.
